Day 11 - Tok to Anchorage

We really thought we were in Alaska now and the roads are up to US standards so we would not experience the adventure of steep grades and no guardrails.  We had 2 routes we could take to Anchorage and we chose the Glenn Highway.  This road was the most scenic yet scariest one we traveled so far. Straight down hill 7-10% grades and no guard rails for a large portion. The scenery was breathtaking with glaciers and glacial lakes.  You pass by Wrangell St. Elias National Park which we will spend time in on our next trip.

We were looking at a glacier with a glacial lake and spotted 2 moose swimming in it.  They were quite far away and was too far to zoom in. Spotted an Eagle flying.
